ALL THE BARRY THAT'S FIT TO PRINT
Barry Manilow, who headlines at the Las Vegas Hilton through 2009, was featured in the UK with a "Sunday Mail" newspaper exclusive. On July 13, the exclusive CD, Can't Smile without You: the Very Best of Barry Manilow, was in that Sunday's paper. Barry returns to the Hilton August 27, 29-30.
SUMMER FOOTBALL NUMBERS, RIGHT FROM THE SUPERBOOK
It's always been said some of us can't get enough football, and the latest numbers from the Las Vegas Hilton SuperBook can attest to that. To keep all the football fans pleased, the SuperBook recently posted college over/under season win totals and college games of the year. Some of the totals include USC at 10.5 over -190, Ohio St. 10.5 under -140, BYU 9.5 under -140, and UNLV 4.5 under -120. Maybe the game of the year takes place early on September 13 and USC is listed a 5.5 favorite over Ohio St. The complete list and current odds are available in the SuperBook.
FOOD COURT IN SESSION
The Food Court at the Las Vegas Hilton (ground floor, North Tower), which was closed for remodeling, will re-open this Saturday (July 19) at 7 a.m. The Food Court includes the Ice Cream Shop, Pizza Hut, and Perk Place (Seattle's Best).

Summer Hollingsworth, president of the Nevada Development Authority; Charlie Desiderio, restaurant critic; Monti Rock III; and Las Vegas Food and Beverage Magazine publisher Michael Politz join Ira on this Monday's "Lunchtime With Ira, Live from the Las Vegas Hilton." The show can be seen on Clark County Television (CCTV), Cox cable channel 4 on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays at Noon and 8 p.m., heard on NEWS/TALK 720 KDWN (Saturdays at 9 p.m.), and is available 24/7 at www.lvhilton.com. The show, produced live every Monday at Noon, features host Ira David Sternberg talking with the celebrities, entertainers, writers, personalities and community leaders who make Las Vegas the most exciting city in the world.
