TIGER OVERWHELMING FAVORITE AGAIN FOR THE BRITISH
Despite being 0-2 this year in the majors, Tiger Woods was once again posted as the overwhelming favorite to win next month’s British Open. The Las Vegas Hilton SuperBook posted the number one ranked player at 9-4 to win the 3rd major of the year. Other contenders include; Sergio Garcia 20-1, Padraig Harrington 25-1, and Rory McIlroy at 25-1. The number two player in the world, Phil Mickelson, will miss the event to care for his wife. All the current odds are posted in the SuperBook.

FIREWORKS ON FOURTH
The Las Vegas Hilton will continue its tradition of shooting fireworks on July 4th. Although the property will be hosting a private fireworks party for it casino customers, (including Sin City Bad Girl Lorena Peril singing the national anthem) the fireworks can be seen by the public from the front of the Las Vegas Hilton or from the parking lot next to the SuperBook off Joe W. Brown Drive.

THE 4TH OF BUFFET
The Las Vegas Hilton is offering its annual Independence Day Buffet Feast, Friday, July 3 and Saturday, July 4, featuring an array of 60 seasonal and freshly prepared items, including seafood, Chinese food, basted turkey, BBQ pork ribs, fried chicken, enchiladas, and desserts. Price: $19.99 per person (plus tax) and $9.99 (plus tax) for children 12 and under. Hours: July 3, 5 p.m.-10 p.m; July 4, 3 p.m.-10 p.m.

SIN CITY BAD GIRLS MOVE TO NEW TIME FOR ONE NIGHT
The Sin City Bad Girls, who perform in the Shimmer Showroom at the Las Vegas Hilton Monday through Saturday at 9 p.m., will move their July 4th show to 10 p.m., since SCBG Lorena Peril is singing the national anthem for the Hilton’s invited guests poolside.

AN OFFER OF VOICES
The producers of “Voices,” John Stuart and Angelo & Christine Giordano, have introduced an offer virtually unheard of in the Las Vegas market. Anyone who has purchased a ticket previously to “Voices,” which stars Earl Turner and Lani Misalucha at the Las Vegas Hilton Shimmer Showroom (or to another Las Vegas show) can bring in his or her ticket stub and receive one complimentary ticket when purchasing a full-price ticket to “Voices.” The high-energy show has taken two of Las Vegas’ most accomplished vocalists and put them together in a show that also encompasses comedy, dance, a six-piece live band and tremendous audience interaction.

MEDIUM TO HILTON
Lisa Williams, internationally acclaimed medium and clairvoyant who was discovered by Merv Griffin and has her own hit show “Lisa Williams, Life Among the Dead.,” will appear at the Las Vegas Hilton Theater Sunday, August 2 at 7 p.m. Williams has been a guest on “Good Morning America,” “Oprah” and “The Jimmy Kimmel Show.” Lisa is writing her first book to be published by Simon and Schuster. FUNNY MAN AND GAMING
Comedian George Wallace and David G. Schwartz, writer, historian, and Director of the Center for Gaming Research at the University of Nevada Las Vegas join Ira on “Summer With Ira,” a summer radio/Internet series. The show is heard on KUNV-FM (91.5) at 6 p.m. on Thursdays and also available 24/7 at www.lvhilton.com and to download as a free podcast on iTunes (http://www.apple.com/itunes).

GAMES AT THE HILTON
