MENOPAUSE PERFORMER GETS A COLD CASE

Susan Beaubian, who plays one of the “power women” in “Menopause the Musical” at the Las Vegas Hilton, is shooting a ten-day guest starring role on the popular CBS “Cold Case” series.

Louis Prima Jr. carries on the legacy and standards of the music his father, known as the original King of Swing, made famous, including “Jump Jive and Wail,” “Angelina,” “Just A Gigolo,” “That Old Black Magic,” “Buona Sera,” “When Your Smilin” and “Sing, Sing, Sing.” He headlines at the Las Vegas Hilton June 29 at 7 p.m. in the legendary Hilton Theater.

VOICES, COMEDY, BOOKS AND REAL ESTATE
Entertainer Terry Fator, comedian Pete Barbutti, photographer/publisher Lindsey Hebberd, and Tom Warden from the Howard Hughes Corporation join Ira on this Monday’s “Lunchtime With Ira, Live from the Las Vegas Hilton.” The show can be seen on Clark County Television (CCTV), Cox cable channel 4 on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays at Noon and 8 p.m., heard on NEWS/TALK 720 KDWN (Saturdays at 9 p.m.), and is available 24/7 at www.lvhilton.com. The show, produced live every Monday at Noon, features host Ira David Sternberg talking with the celebrities, entertainers, writers, personalities and community leaders who make Las Vegas the most exciting city in the world.

FIRST-CLASS NAMES HILTON
Celebrated Living, the luxury magazine for American Airlines premium class passengers, has selected the Las Vegas Hilton as one of its top ten U.S. business hotels. The Hilton is featured in its Summer issue: “Check into the renovated North and East towers for MP3 players, plasma TVs, plush premium bedding, and Internet access. Free WiFi and refrigerators are provided in the new resort club executive level rooms.”

BROWN GOES FOR THE CROWN
After two impressive wins in the Kentucky Derby and the Preakness, Big Brown has a chance to win the Triple Crown this Saturday (June 7) at Belmont Park in New York, according to Jay Kornegay, executive director of the Las Vegas Hilton SuperBook. “It’s been 30 years since Affirmed successfully completed the trifecta, thus the racing and sports world has been buzzing the last three weeks,” says Kornegay. The Las Vegas Hilton SuperBook will be handing out commemorative gifts with anyone who places a $10 wager or more on the Belmont. All the rules and details are available in the SuperBook.

IF IT’S TUESDAY, THIS MUST BE LADIES NIGHT
The Las Vegas Hilton is debuting Ladies Night every Tuesday (6 p.m.-9 p.m.), beginning June 10. Ladies drink free inside Tempo lounge. Sushi is 50% of in Teru Sushi (6 p.m. – 9 p.m.), and spa services are 50% off (spa facial services 25% off) in the Las Vegas Hilton spa (Noon- 6 p.m.)

TOURNAMENT TIME

The American Association of Cosmetology Schools, a national, non-profit association open to all privately-owned schools of Cosmetology Arts and Sciences, is meeting at the Las Vegas Hilton June 8-9. Through a series of seminars, conferences, and conventions held throughout the year, AACS specializes in updating members with information about new teaching methods and current industry events.

TAKING IT TO THE MAT
“Tuesday Night Boxing Live from the Las Vegas Hilton,” will feature former World Boxing Council featherweight champion Kevin Kelley in the inaugural, nationally televised bout on July 8. More info to come.
