DON’T CLOWN AROUND WITH DEE

Platinum Masters’ Monster Circus brings one of the most distinctive voices in rock to Las Vegas to perform in the inaugural Monster Circus shows at the Las Vegas Hilton. Twisted Sister front man Dee Snider will hold court March 19-21 and March 26-28. Monster Circus combines a high-octane live rock concert with sexy dancers, human circus acts, aerialists, freaks and of course, a tour bus full of platinum certified rock stars. An irreverent ringmaster along with Monster Circus’ mascot, a sinister clown, leads the audience along the 75-minute journey through the powerhouse rock andmetal anthems of the ’70s, ’80s and ’90s.

WE’LL BE BACK, RIGHT AFTER THIS MANILOW

In 1976, Manilow was the recipient of two CLIO Awards for his well-known television and radio commercial jingles. DEREMER TO THE RESCUE

Recently, a visitor to a convention at the Las Vegas Hilton became unresponsive and apparently in cardiac distress. The Clark County Fire Department (CCFD) responded, but prior to their arrival on the scene, Hilton Security Officer Dennis Deremer realized the man needed CPR. Deremer, noting no pulse or breathing from the man, immediately commenced CPR. After Deremer administered three sets of CPR compressions and rescue breathing, the guest started breathing. He was subsequently transported to a medical facility for further treatment and discharged seven days later. This wasn’t Deremer’s first rescue, but it was another example of the training that pays off when faced with a crisis.
