NBA CONFERENCE FINALS WRAPPING UP
The Los Angeles Lakers took a huge step towards the NBA Championship Finals with a road victory over the Spurs in game four in the Western Conference Finals. On the Eastern front, the Boston Celtics and Detroit Pistons are battling it out and most likely will have to play a series deciding game seven. The Las Vegas Hilton SuperBook, according to Jay Kornegay, executive director, has the Lakers to win it all at 4-7, followed by the Celtics at 13-5, Pistons 5-1, and the Spurs at 25-1. The SuperBook has been offering 1st quarter, 1st half, 2nd half, and a slew of propositions for each NBA playoff game. All the current odds and rules are available in the SuperBook.

“Spamalot” John O’Hurley, comedian Vinnie Favorito, celebrity chef Kerry Simon, and Las Vegas Sun writer, Joe Brown join Ira on this Monday’s “Lunchtime With Ira, Live from the Las Vegas Hilton.” The show can be seen on Clark County Television (CCTV), Cox cable channel 4 on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays at Noon and 8 p.m., heard on NEWS/TALK 720 KDWN (Saturdays at 9 p.m.), and is available 24/7 at www.lvhilton.com. The show, produced live every Monday at Noon, features host Ira David Sternberg talking with the celebrities, entertainers, writers, personalities and community leaders who make Las Vegas the most exciting city in the world.

PHOENIX FOR FREE
Phoenix, the ultimate rock experience featuring Jimmy Crespo (former lead guitarist of Aerosmith), presents a free concert experience beginning Thursday, May 29 at the Las Vegas Hilton. The weekly concerts are part of “Thursdays Live!” featuring live entertainment in the Hilton Theater, Tempo lounge and Shimmer Cabaret. COOL BY THE POOL
The Las Vegas Hilton has opened this year’s daily “Cool By The Pool,” open to the public, featuring two-for-one drinks, 4 p.m.-8 p.m.; live entertainment 5:30 p.m.-8 p.m., daily drawings at 7 p.m. for show tickets, t-shirts, and big drinks; and lots of fun. The Hilton’s popular Cabana Bar has opened two additional bartender stations to handle the demand.

TENORS PLUS SURPRISE
The Las Vegas Tenors - Bill Fayne, Bobby Black, and Teddy Davey- are back at the Las Vegas Hilton June 1 with a surprise guest and music. “We do every kind of music,” says the group’s founder, Bill Fayne. “We appeal to everyone. Even people who traditionally don’t like opera have come up to me after the show to say that they loved the show because we do everything.”
