HISTORIC PRESIDENTIAL INAUGURATION TO BE CARRIED LIVE
ON LARGE HDTV SCREEN IN LAS VEGAS HILTON THEATER

LAS VEGAS— The Las Vegas Hilton will present President-elect Barack Obama’s historic inauguration on a 18’ X 32’ HDTV with state-of-the-art theater sound in the legendary Hilton Theater on Tuesday, January 20 at 8:30 a.m. (PST). The public is invited to attend with free admission. Doors open at 8 a.m.

“We are inviting the Las Vegas community to witness the inauguration ceremonies of our 44th president in the comfort of our 1,635-seat theater, which is also a smoke-free environment,” said Rudy Prieto, CEO and general manager of the Las Vegas Hilton.

The theater is home to resident headliner Barry Manilow, as well as other major performers throughout the year. It was also the showroom where Elvis Presley performed.

This will be the first presidential inauguration to be viewed in the Hilton Theater.
