LAS VEGAS-The Las Vegas Hilton kicks off Mexican Independence Day, September 12 with the Mariachi Jalisco performing in the resort's lobby and casino, special menus in the Paradise Café and buffet, drinks specials, Mexicana Airlines ticket giveaways and a concert performance by Amanda Miguel Y Diego Verdaguer.
Mariachi Jalisco performs Friday, September 12 (4 p.m.-7 p.m.); Saturday, September 13 (5 p.m.-7 p.m. & 10 p.m.-midnight); Sunday, September 14 (5 p.m.-7 p.m. & 10 p.m.-midnight); and Monday, September 15 (5 p.m.-7 p.m.).
The Paradise Café will offer a Mexican Independence Day menu, September 12-16. The Hilton buffet also will feature a Mexican food station. Mexican beer, margarita and tequila specials will be available at all Hilton bars.
Guests who sign up for the Resorts Destination Casino Club will be eligible for a drawing for tickets to Mexico on Mexicana Airlines. The drawings will be held in the property's Zen Lounge on Saturday and Sunday at 11:30 p.m. and on the casino floor on Monday at 6 p.m.
Legendary Latin singer Amanda Miguel and Diego Verdaguer, her husband and musical partner, are Latin music superstars who will be headlining at the Las Vegas Hilton September 13 at 8 p.m. . Their hit songs include "Asi No Te Amara Jamas (She Will Never Love You This Way)" and "Simplemente Amor (Simply Love)." Amanda's records have been certified as Double Gold in the United States, and she has enjoyed a 20-week stint atop the Billboard charts.
