THREE LEGENDARY GAME SHOW HOSTS BRING LIVE STAGE SHOW, “$250,000 UTIMATE GAME SHOW,” TO LAS VEGAS HILTON BEGINNING OCTOBER 8
TV ICONS BOB EUBANKS, CHUCK WOOLERY, JAMIE FARR TO HOST SOME OF AMERICA'S MOST RECOGNIZABLE GAME SHOWS ON ONE STAGE
FIRST-OF-ITS-KIND SHOW TO GIVE AWAY MORE PRIZES & MONEY THAN ANY LIVE SHOW IN HISTORY
LAS VEGAS— Three legendary game show hosts, Bob Eubanks of “The Newlywed Game” & “Card Sharks,” Chuck Woolery of “Love Connection” & “Lingo,” and Jamie Farr of “The Gong Show” and “M*A*S*H,” have come together to bring some of America's most recognizable game shows together for the first time on one stage at the Las Vegas Hilton, beginning October 8.
The $250,000 Ultimate Game Show will have more winners on stage (more than 50 per show at nine shows a week) and will give away more money and prizes (more than $50,000 each week in guaranteed cash and prizes) than any other live game show in recent history. At each show, an audience member will have the chance to win $250,000. If that person wins $250,000, every audience member who has a valid ticket for that show will also win $100. Each show will feature one of the legendary hosts as Bob Eubanks, Chuck Woolery, and Jamie Farr rotate days during the week.
“The Las Vegas Hilton welcomes three television game show greats who will bring excitement and the chance to win big money to our daytime entertainment schedule,” said Ken Ciancimino, executive vice president of the classic resort.
“This is an amazing chance for people from all over the country, for the first time ever, to play their most beloved game shows in person on the world famous Las Vegas Hilton Theater stage,” says Eubanks. Adds Woolery: “What great fun to recreate these games for a live audience. Game shows have been a big part of my career, so it’s an honor to share the spotlight with these two great performers.”
For four decades, Bob Eubanks wrote television history as host of the incredibly successful “The Newlywed Game.” Along with “The Newlywed Game,” Bob has served as the genial host for game shows on all three networks, including “Rhyme & Reason” and “Trivia Trap” for ABC; “Card Sharks” for CBS; and “Dream House” and “Family Secrets” for NBC. Currently, Bob can be seen four times a day on Sony’s Game Show Network. Eubanks has also hosted Prime Time Country for the Nashville Network.
Chuck Woolery is a popular American game show host, singer, actor and a two-time talk show host, best known as the original host of “Wheel of Fortune” and for hosting the dating game show “Love Connection,” from its debut in 1983 to the conclusion of its first edition in 1994. He currently hosts “Lingo” on GSN.
Jamie Farr is best known for his role on the television series M*A*S*H as Klinger. The weekly show had an amazing audience of 32 million regular viewers, running for 11 years. Jamie has also appeared as a regular on numerous game shows for three decades, including “The Gong Show” and “Hollywood Squares.”
“I can’t wait for the bell to ring and the game playing to begin; we’re the celebrity hosts, but the real stars will be the audience,” says Farr.
The “$250,000 Ultimate Game Show” with hosts Bob Eubanks, Chuck Woolery and Jamie Farr opens October 8 in the Hilton Theater. Showtimes are 1:30 p.m. & 3:30 p.m. Tickets are $42 (plus tax and service charge). Must be 21 or older to participate in game show segments.
