LAS VEGAS HILTON’S 40TH ANNIVERSARY™ SCRATCH CARD PROMOTION OFFICIAL RULES

1. The Las Vegas Hilton is the sponsor of the Las Vegas Hilton’s 40th Anniversary Scratch Card Promotion.
2. This promotion is open only to persons who are 21 years of age or older, and who provide valid, government issued identification on date of entry. Employees of Las Vegas Hilton, its retail accounts, agents, successors, assignees, affiliates, related companies and subsidiaries, advertising agencies and promotional companies, or their families, are ineligible for this promotion. By participating, you agree to the Las Vegas Hilton’s Official Promotion Rules and to the decisions of the judges, which are final and binding in all respects.
3. This promotion is valid only at Las Vegas Hilton – (3000 Paradise Road, Las Vegas, NV 89109-1287). Dates of redemption period are August 1, 2009 through December 29, 2009.
4. Beginning August 1, 2009 and ending December 29, 2009 or when 50,000 scratch cards have been distributed (whichever comes first); Las Vegas Hilton representatives will distribute scratch cards at the Las Vegas Hilton front desk upon check-in to the hotel. Participants must be booked and staying under offer codes related to this promotion or any other promotion designated by Las Vegas Hilton to receive scratch cards. Limit one scratch card per night booked, unless otherwise specified by Las Vegas Hilton. Scratch cards are non-transferable and may only be played by the person to whom distributed by Las Vegas Hilton. Play by gently rubbing off the latex covering over 5 and only 5 of the 25 latex squares on the face of the scratch card. If you reveal 5 identical (40) symbols, you have a winning scratch card, subject to verification. If a contestant reveals the required winning symbols, the prize amount in the PRIZE BOX determines the prize level for which the contestant is eligible. The prize levels assigned to each card in the prize box area is as follows:

5. Scratch card is void and will not be eligible for prize redemption if (i) more than five (5) squares and the “PRIZE BOX” are revealed, in whole or in part, or (ii) there are any marks or scratches on the card, other than the five (5) revealed squares and “PRIZE BOX”.
6. PRIZE(S) / ODDS: There are 50,000 scratch cards available. Odds of correctly revealing five (5) identical (40) symbols on a scratch card are approximately 1:53,130. The Prize Level A in this Promotion is $100,000. A total number of ten (10) are available for Prize Level A. Odds of receiving a Prize Level A scratch card are 1:5,000. The Prize Level B in this Promotion is $50,000. A total number of five-hundred (500) cards are available for Prize Level B. Odds of receiving a Prize Level B scratch card are 100:1. The Prize Level C in this Promotion is $5,000. A total number of 4,500 cards are available for Prize Level C. Odds of receiving a Prize Level C scratch card are 11.11:1. The Prize Level D in this Promotion is $1,000. A total number of 44,990 cards are available for Prize Level D. of receiving a Prize Level D scratch card are1.11:1. A maximum of $250,000 in prizes are available to be won.
7. Only the first $250,000 in winning contestants, if any, who correctly submit a winning scratch card with required claim documentation and who meet all eligibility requirements and have complied fully with these Official Rules will be awarded a prize. All cards presented for prize redemption are subject to verification by Las Vegas Hilton and an independent judging organization whose decisions are final. Prizes will be payable in the form of a check from the Las Vegas Hilton sent to winner via U.S. mail to the address provided by winner no later than 30 days following verification of the win. UNCLAIMED PRIZES WILL NOT BE AWARDED. Prize(s) will only be awarded upon winner validation and verification by an independent third party testing laboratory. Taxes, fees or other charges, if any, are the sole responsibility of winner(s). By accepting a prize, winner(s) release and discharge Las Vegas Hilton, affiliated companies and their parents, subsidiaries, affiliates, advertising and promotion agencies, and all their respective employees, officers, directors, representatives and agents from any liability or damage due in whole or in part to the award, acceptance, possession, use or misuse of any prize or from participation in this Promotion.
8. Contestants holding a winning scratch card must redeem at the Las Vegas Hilton Casino Cage immediately in order to submit a claim for payment. Contestants submitting a valid original winning scratch card will be provided an Affidavit of Eligibility and, unless otherwise prohibited by law, a Publicity/Liability Release which they will be required to complete, sign and return within thirty (30) days. If winner(s) cannot be contacted, is ineligible, fails to claim a prize or fails to return the completed and executed Affidavit/Release as required, prize will be forfeited. No unclaimed prizes will be awarded. By participating, a winner, except where prohibited by law, grants Las Vegas Hilton, and its designee the right to use the winner's name, likeness, picture, voice, biographical information and written submissions and written or oral statements, for advertising and promotional purposes without additional compensation.
9. Any scratch card that is mutilated, altered, copied, hand printed, forged, inadequately printed, water damaged, manipulated, or tampered with in any way, or that contains any computer programming, printing, mechanical or typographical errors, will be considered void and will not be eligible for prize redemption.
10. Las Vegas Hilton is required to report all claims for payment to the party instructed on the claim form within three (3) business days of Las Vegas Hilton’s receipt of winning scratch card.
11. Not valid in conjunction with any other offer. Not transferable. No cash value.
12. Las Vegas Hilton reserves the right to modify or cancel this promotion at any time, for any reason, subject to all applicable regulatory approval.
